Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
-
What are your fees?
Fees range from $140-$300 per session. The difference in fees will depend on your therapist’s experience.
-
Do you accept health insurance?
Clover works as an “Out of Network” (OON) Provider. If you have out of network benefits, your insurance company will typically reimburse you for 60-80% of each session’s fee once your deductible is met. Try using our OON calculator below to see how much you can expect to get reimbursed for each session. Some of our clinicians also offer a sliding scale. Please reach out here and we’d be happy to give you more information on this.
-
Can I pay for therapy with my HSA or FSA?
Yes! Clover is an approved medical provider that can accept Health Savings Account and Flexible Spending Accounts as payment. This can be done through your HSA or FSA debit card or by us providing you with paperwork necessary for you to get reimbursed by the funds in your HSA/FSA.

How will therapy help me?
We believe in helping you find lasting change. To do this, we only use evidence-based, heavily researched models of therapy (Emotion Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) that have been statistically proven to yield positive change. About 90% of the folks I work with report greater satisfaction in their relationships with themselves and with others after treatment at Clover.
-
How long will therapy take?
Short answer: It depends. Long answer: anywhere from 2-10 months, or until you find the change that you sought out therapy for. Your therapist will check in every month to see what goals you have met and what areas you would like to continue working on. Your therapist will help you decide how often to meet.

Are sessions via Telehealth?

-
What if I Cannot Afford the Session Fee?
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We believe in making therapy affordable whenever possible. If we are able to offer reduced fees for services, we will. You will be required to fill out a Sliding Scale Request form to determine eligibility.
